hi all
today I received my eachlink x3 mini tv box.
I flashed the slimbox rom ddr3 AOSP varient from the above link.. it's working nicely despite I didn't install the patch.. what is patch needed for.. do I need to flash it or no need as it's working fine.

If everything works fine, doesn't need it. The patch is for wifi.

Yes it can i have tested it in mine and works great (emuelec) also i have that rom and runs really smooth you can try it if you want to

thanks.. it seems to be A95x f3 rom.. is our device a clone of a95x?.. all custom and stock rom of a95x can work with our device?

I cant be sure for all but with this particullar one it works, now if you want to experiment with other roms you can do so, but first take a backup with a temporary twrp so that you can revert back and then you can try out any rom that you want of course it has to to be for s905x3

I have managed to boot coreelec from usb flash.. it's working properly.. the dtb file is that s905x3_2g.
so it's likely that 4 gb ram is fake

on the other hand emuelec failed to work.. the same dtb file will lead to error message.. with another dbt file "s905x2_2g" emuelec booted but stucked in loading screen.

I tried s905x3 4g before in a previous build of emuelec with no success.. I will try today in the new build

update:
emuelec works fine with the last build and s905x3 2g dtb file.. but you need 16+ gb flash or memory card as 8 gb sd card stucks.. Playstation 1 games like tekken 3 and winning eleven worked fine with good FBS.
