How to set default resolution?

There is Android TV Box (S905X3, Android 9). Is it possible to write in any config files that the default resolution should be always 720p@50Hz?

Why 50hz? That seems like an odd one

I know i have an older firestick that has a resolution of 24hz and i found that a bit odd

you can change your Resolution in Settings , there must be a List under Display / Resolution ,

does your OS nott have this ??? , maybe over build.prob change , but not sure ,

On most systems..
hdmi = 1080p
composit /av-out = 720 or lower

try using : wm size
Google : forum android wm size
I remember.. that XDA forum having a bunch of apps that can do wm size on boot
But.. you might get issues with kodi? as that runs 1080 as default ?
