Why do these things have such poor cooling?

I ordered this kit a few months ago and it worked great almost ever heatsink in it i used for something. I went to order another kit few days ago and they dont have em any more

There is an 88 piece kit i ordered from the same outfit but they seem smaller and i dont think as many i will use as the 100 piece kit

Search Amazon for easycargo heatsink kit its a different kit but i ordered one also to see if there were some usable

I got in the 88 piece kit off of Amazon today its got quite a few useful heatsinks.

If you ask me thought these boxes still have very poor venting so even with better/larger heatsinks they still need fans

IMO they are better not being in the case but still perform better with a fan

Theres enough sinks in this kit to do about 4 maybe 5 boxes, thats including all the ram and rom also

Cant beat it for $12.

I bought some kind of little heatsink box off amazon came in a case with a bunch of little heatsinks random sizes

These sinks came out of this little box, i just picked a few that looks like they would fit and still put the cover back on but i havnt yet. I thought ide get a little USB fan also

It's ok. Found out. Under the rubber feet are. 3 screws. Another 2 are inside. Waiting for my Dremel to charge up now to open up some holes
