    Cyanogenmod 10.1 Neo X7

Well, on my travels around the internet, I came across a port of Cyanogenmod 10.1 for the Chewi v88 on Rkcrew. I've installed it on my X7 with Phjandersons kernel and it works really great, so far its one of the smoothest Roms I've used and I've had no shutdowns.Problem is Wifi and Bluetooth don't work, only Ethernet. I'm guessing I have to copy the stock WiFi and Bluetooth modules and then run an initd script to get them to work. Can anyone tell me where I can get the modules from or even upload them for me? I'd be very grateful!

You could use the RK3xxx firmware tools to do this your self. Do a search here You will find it. Or there is a similar tool posted on XDA and here too? Cant rememeber. But both will allow you to add libs you need.

Do you need Linux to do it. Also, are the libs in the kernel or the ROM? I thought flashing the kernel would allow the WiFi to work?

Yes you need the right kernel but you also need the support files
          rkwifi.ko
          wlan.ko
The module for the wifi chip which is in /lib/modules or in /vendor of the stock ROM

          Basically do this:

copy from the stock ROM everything in
          /system/lib/modules
          /etc/firmware
          /etc/wifi
          /vendor/lib
          /vendor/firmware

and you may need wpa_supplicant from /system/bin

That should get wifi working. BT is another matter.

Thanks Bob, trying it now. Why is bluetooth more difficult to get to work?

Because BT is enabled all over the system. Get wifi working and then I will tell you what to do about BT. But even if you do copy over all the files, the framework itself maybe different in how settings turns it on, etc.

IS there an official version that work? I've been recommended cyongenmod by someone at work and I'd like to give it a go
