Yuandao N101 Finless/RileyROM 2.1

Hello guys,
I confirm that to me does not work any video player ...
I can not play any type of movie, and the display, within the playback window, sees half of the green line.
Unfortunately, this feature is too important, and even if everything else is ok, I have to go back to my previous rom (4.3.1 Vondroid).
I hope you can solve this problem, in the meantime, thank you for the commitment ...

I will look into this when I get some time. Just like when TV sticks upgraded to 4.2.2 there was a DRM issue. My bet is we don't have the right keys possibly.

Well charging didn't work with kernel128.img

So im trying to flash it with 21-fixed now.

Battery runned out completly so Im having a lot of problems to get the n101 into flash mode with the charger plugged in..


edit: got it charged to about 20% now after a few tricks Finless wrote about in an old thread, but cant get it to save the usb-debugging mode on. I turn it on, go to homescreen, and back to settings again and its unchecked again

Im running 21-fixed now and charger cable is in, it says charging, but battery still going down

Any ideas? I have 2 charges to switch between and same results with both. I sucessfully charged my pad with this charger earlier this morning.

Its stuck at 1% battery, charges and charges but wont go any higher

I have the same issue. Flashed to 21-fixed in order to get rid off the 1% charging problem.
Do you solved the problem already or anybody else?
Do I need to fully discharge the tablet before I start charging properly?

I suggest flashing the oldest version of the Finless ROM with kernel 21. After boot, do a hard power off by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

Then plug the tablet in to the charger and let it charge to 100 percent.

Then flash this ROM with the default kernel.

That should fix your charging problem

I think that should work, OK. The main thing is to run that old kernel. The later kernels had battery data problems.

Be sure and charge to 100% before you flash another ROM/Kernel.

I would have warned everyone about this problem in post #1...but the problem wasn't very widespread and I discovered later on. I hope this will fix everyone's problem. It worked on my N101.

Nice ROM, very smooth and stable. However I also faced the problem with HDMI (I have tried to 3 different TVs), that's quiet bad cause I use HDMI often. It shows the screen at the time of connection to the TV and then stops communication (like freezing output). I really respect your job guys, but it would be great if you could please create a boot.img including the original Yuandao boot image (the first one) with the chinese letters.

Yesterday I downgraded my tablet to Finless 1.8 with Kernel 21. After flashing the Rom I fully discharged the battery by letting the tablet in recovery mode for hours. But the 1% charging problem persists anyway. Charger is getting warm so charging is working.
Is there something I forgot like resetting the battery stats?
