if seek a Desktop mode on a android TV box,....
Google market search : Sentio Desktop (launcher ) and Sentio app
it looks like windows GUI... for android even supports window/resize mode for apps

and if wish dual screen ( mirror ) try displaylink (device) with displaylink app
works on most phone/tabled/tvbox

If you really want a powerful Android TVbox setup you'd buy yourself a refurbished Google Pixel 2 or 3 and use the device with a powered USB-C hub connected to your TV or Monitor permanently, because that would be the best way to use Desktop mode correctly with the latest Android security patches.
