Sorry for the delay , but it was worth it because I tried it on exhaustion and everything works smooth ATV 9 for box R98 with TXC2-RK-3328 TX3 PRO -V1.0 processor which is actually a blue board RK3318.

use FactoryTool_v1.64 software in upgrade option follow files

I replaced my Alfawise S92 after about 5 years with H96 Max V11 (RK3318, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage). Only issue with Android 11 firmware from last year is that says on cpu-z that the full resolution is only 1280x720, whatever resolution I choose.

I'm thinking to use the rooted rom of the similar device, the issue with the resolution will be still present with newer firmware?

Yes, all RK3318 are only 720p and CPU speed is only 1.1Ghz.
The RAM speed of RK3318 is not even fast enough to support HDR or 4K video properly.
RK3318 is a low cost clone of RK3328 used mainly for 720p/upscaled 1080p video playback.

Unfortunately I replaced the H96 with the Mi Box S which I had bought early this year, but I don't like the Android TV OS and the fact that I cannot install some applications due to firmware restrictions. Anyway no browsing anymore. Only Kodi, Netflix and YouTube.
