I have a Bqeel Y4 MAX (Amlogic S905X2 Quad Core/4GB DDR4+64G eMMC/Dual WIFI 2.4/5.8G+100M LAN/Bluetooth 4.0.

Does this ROM work with myl S905X2 TV player?

i only can say test but in might not work i made for beelink devices but most are universal , so if it does work the remote probably wont

Really? Did you disable the old one or deleted ?

I installed the Google TV Home APK and an updated version of Google Base APK (Ver. 5.5...)
then I uninstalled the Android Home Launcher through ADB.

It's been working fine so far.
Google TV Home is pretty new so not "perfect" yet a few things crash the Launcher for example trying to enter into the Google account settings (not ATV settings) and the weather but apart from those 2 that I don't really need, I'm quite happy with it on this ROM

you dont disable anything u just stop playstore from auto updates and never update android home then u will see you wont have problems

i cautioned against the androidtv home to update it because it hanged and went to black screen all the time ,,,,, so the default one that comes with the system works marvelous

Sure understand! Do you think I could use SLIMBOX vendor (H9x3 vendor) on Spartan base? could this boost wifi?

weired, I have the HK1 Play 4GB DDR unit and it was no problem flashing the H96Max X2 build...

Another topic I already left some words on: I bought an H9X3 4/64GB BT unit and flashed SLIMBOX on it. To be not missunderstood: my intention is not to claim someones work. The Spartan build on my HK1 Play feels overall more fluid to me and of course - I mentioned that many times - the minixfreak wifi is by far best among lots of custom roms. I experienced real bad wifi on the H9x3 even some wifi drops so I put ethernet cable on that device - I never did that before....

minixfreak I already asked bout the wifi tweaks....is there any way I could mod Spartan OS to fit the H9 x3? ...I mean working wifi, bluetooth...would there be any benefits regarding wifi?

i could possible do it but have to check when i get time ... just finding time is sooo hard with little one school and fulltime job

Hello,
I have the H96 MAX X2 4/32, I'm not sure which RAM I have but I was unable to flash with USB tool.
It would freeze at 3% or 7% consistently. So I unpacked the firmware and replaced the boot, DDR and uboot img with Daviet's ATV9 rom's img. I was able to flash it that way.
This is very easily the best ROM I have used so far, I mean even the remote buttons work flawlessly.
I am curious to know the effects of swapping the boot, DDR and uboot and to know if anyone was able to solve the 3% and/or 7% freeze issues.
