Hello,
I have the H96 MAX X2 4/32, I'm not sure which RAM I have but I was unable to flash with USB tool.
It would freeze at 3% or 7% consistently. So I unpacked the firmware and replaced the boot, DDR and uboot img with Daviet's ATV9 rom's img. I was able to flash it that way.
This is very easily the best ROM I have used so far, I mean even the remote buttons work flawlessly.
I am curious to know the effects of swapping the boot, DDR and uboot and to know if anyone was able to solve the 3% and/or 7% freeze issues.

I had to flash backup of system several times now...

Guess it is because I moved installed app manager (can handle xapk, apkm) to system. Is this possible?

weired...after reboot su works again?!....

weired, I lost root over the night?!?!

This morning I turned the box on, now su apk says "binary occupied"....no root priviliges..whats going on ?

Is there any way to root again?

Now h96 init fix zip was possible

thats good .... glad it works sorry about that so everyone please use this as a fix and i know its the best h96 max x2 firmware out there right now since not much people work on it

too bad tried Alvatech's MAGISK method...but messed all up :-(.....

Can I do it manually? Ill check wether su runs properly later on

Can confirm, SPARTAN OS v5 runs without modification on HK1 PLAY 4/64 S905x2 using h96 X2 build.

Only one issue:

- cant turn off with MX3 airmouse using powerbutton (same on Minixfreak OS) have to use enter button on backside


minixfreak : any way to have the Android documentsui with Google Drive support? ;-)

My H96 Max X2 is DDR3 - The usb burn tool errors out at 3%. I've also tried holding the reset button in while plugging it into the PC, but no luck either way. Am I missing something? UBT v2.2.0

theres two version of h96 max x2 maybe that is the issue
