How about you get a good box like from ugoos.com? they are great, we have to boycott the chinese clone manufacturers so they put more work and support in their devices.

Dont buy the cheap boxes.

Just got it from Amazon a few years ago. Just trying to getting working a little better. If I'd have know about all this back then, may be I would have. If I was to buy anything, I'd probably get a fire stick as they will do everything I need.

i agree we shouldn't condone these clones, unfortunately their cheap and most people are price sensitive, i have like 5 boxes mostly free, payed like 20 Quid for one (just for a 2gb ram upgrade on 905x)

I would go for a firestick myself, only thing that really annoys me with them is its is full of adverts for amazon prime stuff, you could change the launcher on a rooted firestick but it depends on what software version its on if its rootable, think they patched the root method at some point but has been a while since looked into it (and don't have a firestick to mess with)

Here it that modified firmware, first attempt at porting to another base, may not work but let me know how it went and can see of can figure out where its gone wrong )

it flashed to my 1gb box but appears to be stuck on the boot animation, but now i know it will actually flash on my box i have somthing to test it on (Thought i would have to rely on you flashing to even to test seems i can install it though)

i did reply this morning but its marked as pending approval, i did put a link up but it most lightly wont work have managed to flash the rom you sent onto my 1gb box to test, seem to have run into an issue where i cant change anything without the image failing to burn at 98% not sure why but am trying to figure it our

Ok thanks. Why does it do that? I get that quite a lot on here. I'm at the stage now where I have tried everything. I now even can't put the working img back on to the box fails at 7% slowly going crazy! Thanks for your help.

Because i edited it twice, it automatically got marked as needing approval, thes boxes can be very frustrating, they require so much effort just to get them to work sometimes, hopefully you can get somthing flashe on it again but not a good sign that you cant flash a previosly working ROM, you could try "force erase all" have f funny feeling i had to do that once to get around an issue (Was long time ago so cant remember specifics & Why)

Some progress. I managed to get your img on to a box (one does seem permanently bricked. Can’t get anything on to it). However, it won’t load, screen flashes up Android TV With your name and boxes resets and it loops continually. Some slight progress!

haha yhea little bit of progress at least 1 not bricked, was it the original or the (VERY probably broken) version i posed a few comments ago? im not sure about what to try next, i have asked about not being able to edit the image you sent me (my suspicion is maybe SElinux)

I'm not sure. I've downloaded so many over the last few days. it was:
