Need ArchLinux for Amlogic S905X

Hello,

Issue: I am wanting to run ArchLinux (preferably not KODI preinstalled) for Amlogic S905X.
My TV Box is: Nexbox A95X 2GB/16GB S905X WIFI AP6330

Steps I have done so far:

1. Downloading the OS from here:

http://os.archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLi...-latest.tar.gz

2. dtb used: dtbs/amlogic/meson-gxl-s905x-nexbox-a95x.dtb

3. Followed this guide:

All steps were successful but when I insert this sd card in Nextbox and tries to boot it via toothpick method, it waits for a few minutes and then boots to Android 9.

Note: I was able to run "Armbian Focal" successfully in the same tv box via sd card. I followed this guidelines as below.

I see that there is an archlinux build for S802\S812:

Do we have something similar for Amlogic S905X plz?

You may have missed this point where I mentioned that I was able to run "Armbian Focal" successfully in the same tv box via sd card.

I simply want to know how to run Arch LINUX from SD card on an Amlogic S905X.

Armbian Ubuntu is it from balbes150?I installed them on s905x when there was a kernel 3.14.29.On new kernels, android 4.9 I could not start armbian.Apparently there is a connection in this?

I have NOT been successful running Arch Linux yet from SD card in this TV box (S905X).

1. The Android architecture has nothing to do with running ArchLinux.
2. To run, with the current firmware saved in eMMC, you need scripts that will run the system and the correct kernel (which has the appropriate patch). Or you need to remove the u-boot in eMMC and use the main u-boot-2020 (if you find one for your model), which can run the kernel without patches.

If it doesn't start, it means that you didn't follow the launch instructions.

Armbian absolutely works like a charm. I just mentioned it so that we know there is no defect in the TV box.
This was my initial statement when I opened this thread
