You can load coreelec or alexelec from a memory card for the test.

If the problem is in EMMC than this will not do the trick. Only (maybe-not for sure) cautious heating + UBT tool.
Of course you have nothing to loose to try any method suggested. In another thread/topic I even have suggested (some time ago) that it is a good practice for everybody to have always an sd card ready with coreelec for such amd other uses So yes try this also.

try this open up the crappy box.... and make "pression" on the thermal cooler over processor it will make pins contac with soldering and start flashing dont remove your hand keep on pressing it
sorry bad english... i think you get it

Dear freddy, I tried with all the temperature parameters and always the same result, for 7% of the formatting and when the time reaches 1:10, the error ...

Dear sagert and ath156, I tried to record the coreelec on the SD card, as per instructions, but not the image.

Dear Egc1010, I tried to press the passive thermal cooler, unfortunately it didn't work either.

I warmly thank everyone who is helping. I have a multimeter here, but unfortunately I don't even know where to start testing.

As for the heating with the hair dryer, as I said, I had tested it, but I heated it up a little bit, without exaggeration.

I ask, should I centralize the heating in the processor that must be below the passive cooling fan?

I also apologize for the English, I speak Portuguese natively.

Probably you didn't understand that you may try to raise the temperature NOT of the processor (S905X3) itself but of EMMC. Sometimes EMMC is like i.e. SKHynix H26M62002GMR 32GB or similar. In your case it seems to be that KONSEMI chip (just beside the passive cooling fan). As you have better access to what is inscripted upon this KONSEMI (exact type, code nr. etc) chip you can even check it in Internet to see if it is 32GB or 64GB etc.
So if you want to try, this is the chip to raise its temperature and immediately after try to flash the ROM.

And I repeat a couple of tricks you may try to overcome this 7% limit (before raising temperature of EMMC or even after that):

              A. When it stops at 7% unplug and replug the USB-A cable (sometimes it continues the burning process)

              or

              B. Try to keep shorting the 2 pins even after burning process starts and even after 7% is reached (hoping that it will continue the process)

ath 156, I understood about heating. I will focus my attention on the KONSEMI chip, in my case I bought it as being 64gb.

about the short of the pins I even thought I was doing it wrong, because there is no signal when I short the 2. with multimeter I realized that energy passes between the two golden pins, little but it passes.

I will try to heat the KONSEMI ... put and remove the usb in the 7% also had not tested, I will try. thank you very much for your attention.

Connected here using UART.If you enter help in the UART console you can see what commands you can enter there. Here on the site there is still a way to restore a TV box using UART.The Superceleron theme has this way.

uart, besides being difficult for me to get one, requires advanced knowledge, i don't know if i could. I tried again the methods suggested above and unfortunately, it doesn't work! I believe that if I don't find an electrical engineer, the TV box will not work again ...

The author of this thread was connected via UART.Ask him how he did it.

By looking again more closely at your 1st photo I saw that although you have a Vontar X3 your Board is HK1 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a quick research and I found out that this is true for all Vontar boxes. But problems like yours are found (to my knowledge) only to Vontars and not to HK1 Box. So it is not the board.
Also you have an Emmc by KONSEMI while other users, with the same problem, have an Emmc by Hynix. So it must not be the actual module/Emmc. Probably it is bad contacts (bad sholdering) of these modules.
So maybe the best bet to fix it, is still the heating (even slightly pressing ?) this module.

I also inform you that I recently bought a HK1 Box (so almost the same box as yours) but untill now everything is perfect. I hope it will be like this in the long run also.

Maybe Test Rom on Your Box rootkonsole

I like this theory about eMMc
However they flashed how many of these Boxes with Factory Firmware
And the solder only held once/one flash only?

You always have Good Advice/Tips ath156

He has posted reference to thread

                              As a last resort/last attempt

Otherwise maybe set this Box aside/Move on

This has been a Crappy Year Pandemic and all
Maybe treat yourself to a New/Different Box

Also the Jolly Old Elf is due for a visit soon !!!!!

As long as you have not been Naughty
Maybe could be New One Under The Tree

                              Happy Testing

salutation. thank you very much for sharing the knowledge and assisting in the solution attempt. I will try the heating method again. my usb cable is big, 1.5 meters, I doubt it is the cause, but it can even be ... the UART method is an option, but as I do not deal with it, it may be more an expense to acquire the UART that would compensate for taking a new box. any results, I inform.
