Was it a video file? or just small chunks of files(if are small chunks of files I can get why it was slow)
it was just one file, it was an apk file that i had as backup on my desktop. i know that small files are always slow to copy.
about the 1.4 it is in megabytes not megabits.

Currently is 675kb/s for a 1.4GB 720p video file, I'll see if it can go more than that in a few minutes(and stabilize at that)

P.S. Either the nand of my stick is terribly slow or the wlan :P

i have tested the mk802iv with many roms and kernels, not only neomode rom, and its always like that 700 kb/s

still around 675kb/s. I'm expecting a usb flash with speeds of 200 and 190 (read/write), if it had a usb 3.0 port it would be ...sweet :P (the only limit would be the wifi speed)

But it seems that wlan is more than enough and propably is a nand thing, the rom in this stick is not very good, just slow.

I'll try to add a usb stick and put the files there, it should be way faster..

EDIT: Speeds are the same but I can't get a conclusive result it might be the rom or the usb chip having these speeds. I'll run a speed test and see how fast I can download a file from the internet

im using a sdhc 16 gb as sdcard memory not as ext_card (with a little mod in the vold.fstab)
if the problem is the nand memory speed then why it is the same with the sdhc card.
the sdhc card has read and write speeds of about 30 mb/s

if the problem is in the controller and it's responsible for internal/external transfers then there's nothing you can do

I get bad download speeds although its good for surfing it's bad for D/L

Putting even a sandisk 95mb/s card won't change the fact. It's like my DHD phone and it's charging, no matter how fast the charger is it can't take more than 600-800mA at 5v so even if I tried to charge it with a 5v 2.1A charger, the charge time is just the same as an 1A charger or a good 800mA charger
