i wish there was more development going on as well but it seems that's the state of things. thankfully the x7 roms work and that seems to be a popular device at the moment.

Just use the RK tool that comes bundled w/ finless roms. the one that allows you to select each component individually. Then you just make sure to uncheck everything but kernel, select the one you want, plug the t428 while in flash mode, then just flash the kernel. should take about 30 seconds. no need to erase anything, just flash the one component and you're good to go.

You're tallking about the Minix X7 I guess. Where do I find Minix X7 ROMs to load onto T428 ?
Well, now this means more research to find out what does and doesn't work on X7 ROMs. Gonna have to save that for another day.
Thanks for your suggestions.
