i have cs-918 and with orginal firmware will work ok with wirellse and lan .

after update with levy justxbmc LAN network not work any moore

and now am change 10 diferent firmware on this box and LAN not working any moore

please any to give me advice what is wrong now and how to fix that problem

hi,

happened to me too. is your cs918 with Bluetooth? if so than that is the problem. you need to find the t-r42 stock from geekbuying site and flash it. that will solve your problem. tell me please if it worked for you.

happened to me too.

I have the same problem with ETH!
Some other people on Polish forum reported the same problem!
I think new K-R42s / CS918s have new chip for ETH and that is the reason fot not working LAN connection!

Waiting for new Lewy's rom or new official stock rom!

Hi gyus!
The main reason why you have problem with our LAN after flashing Lewy HFW ROM is that your CS918 devices are V2.1 revision, no 2.0. Lewy YFW ROM is compatible for older 2.0 version of device so far. Newer CS918 V2.1 has another Lan chip inside(RTL8201F) which isn't supprted by kernel in Lewy's ROM and as result LAN doesn't work.
Make sure you always have your working stock firmware backup before doing your experiments!!!

While you are waiting for othere releases.
You can try the rom from wasser:

It may still have issues but it's being worked on.

You may have the same model as mine, It uses an ASIX usb lan chip and AP6210 usb wifi chip.

This wasser's rom compatible with BT wersion of CS918 or T-R42/MK888B devices only. It won't work on no BT CS918 modification.

I just thought the OP have the same version like mine.

If you have a cs918 without bluetooth I don't think you have another LAN module like RTL8201F or so on it, you will have the same PCB like the one in my signature...
BUT what I don't know, if there is a problem with the new "IMG M1206IG 1330" instead of the "IMG M1201IG 1246"...
First try the K-R42 Rom

OK the B351_V1.0 is another PCB with another WLAN chip... It is AP6210 and that is WITH bluetooth so you have to try the T-K42 or the solution by wasser
