Does the mSD partition must be FAT(16) or okay with FAT32 or exFAT?
    I formatted as FAT32 but doesn't work.
You must not format the mSD card by hand, as this could lead to the first 512 bytes of the 0 sector being damaged and the bootloader no longer working. Use Burn Card Maker only.

Rename the *.ini file to *.ini.bak and try again

You have used the wrong FW, 2% progress indicates the wrong bootloader. Only use FW that I have posted.

You must first short the pins, then connect the box to the socket, release the pins after 2 seconds and wait another 2-3 sec. until the script has done its job. Unplug the box, remove mSD. Then you can start the UBT burn.

            Man, you are awesome.
I use your FW and follow your detail instruction to make my box up again.

however, the box “freezes” in the set up screen. Both remote control and usb KB/M are not working. May I ask if you have another firmware close to the one I have to make the remote works please?

bumerc , I tried using the SuperCeleron FW.
It can boot but cannot break out from the boot loop, freezing at the Android TV screen (powered by superceleron).
X96 unbranded firmware with some fixes - FreakTab
              The firmware I use: http://filefactory.com/file/1x3cov83...6_Nov_2017.rar
it looks very close to the spec of my box, but stuck at somewhere on boot.

Could you please help me through?
              Many thanks, mate.

Post the remote.conf file from your original ROM. In the FW that you have installed, remote service runs via dt-bindings

                  Hi Bumerc.

I didn't have the original rom back up. That's why I'm so regret and annoying to have my box back on working condition.

But if the remote doesn't work, why the usb devices don't work as well?
                  Is it stuck or freezing?
Do you have another rom fit for my box to let me try again please?

Thank you very, very much for your kind support.

USB can be activated by changing the controller type. I have already found the T95m remote file. As soon as I have time, I will correct the missing items for your device..
