Hi I did received my G910. It is working perfectly with my S4 (android 4.3) and with the X7. I haven't installed any app. This is how I got it working. On X7 go to settings Bluetooth and turn it on. Turn off the G910 with holding the home button ( no light flashing) Make the X7 visible and press search for devices. On the G910 press the home and X button at the same time shortly then release it. The three led should flash fast. On the X7 it is appearing as keyboard no pin required. In app mode( Home+Y) the pin is 0000. I am using in gamepad mode and it is perfect with the emulators and with android games e.g. Digger HD.
Hopefully you can get it working.
BTW I am using the Nexus SDK from here on my X7 if this makes any difference.

Before you can connect in app mode you have to unpair the G910 in the Bluetooth setting. Then press Home+Y and then if you want to pair it, it will ask for password. Enter 0000 and it is paired.
Might I ask you why you want to use the app mode?

BTW did you tried the new gamepad app and firmware?

The firmware update is a trick one. I had to use a different cable because it was not working with the supplied one. First I installed the app (I was using windows 8) then selected the update file. Turned off the G910 with the home button. Connected it while it is still off. Then pressed the start+select which enabled the update button.
With the new gameplay app there is about 98 games which you can some of them is free, some not.
There is a new driver file on the blog as well but I did not installed that one.
                I hope this helps.

I used the firmware from the this site

direct link to the firmware with the flashing tool:

and this is the app you have to install on X7

I used the following rom on X7

So I am unsure if it will work with Finless.
If you need any more info, please let me know.

I was using windows 8 and I used the drivers from that rar file. It was not signed so I had to trust it.

There is a new driver as well which you can try:

If none of them works I would suggest to contact the place you got the gamepad from as it could be faulty.

I could of been just lucky. For me what made it work was the new USB cable.

And just to mention I first installed the driver with the installer exe in the G910 driver folder. And one more thing you have to run everything as administrator and it might be advisible to disable the antivirus temporary.

                              are you running x86 or 64-bit ?

cause when i tried to do it and install it on my own it said the ps3 was not fo 64-bit systems.

That could be it, as mine is 32bit.
