If somebody wants you can try with my app. I have support for both firmwares and all connection modes.

It would be nice to have some feedback.

About the firmware updates I had to unpack everything. None of the installers worked for me.

if you look at all the posts , most people cannot seem to upgrade thiers either, but I did try it on my wifes windows 8 pc and couldn't get it to see it either.

I successfully upgraded g910 new firmware on both windows 8.1 and windows 7 (both are 64 bit). You have to install new drivers. The way I did - I pressed START+SELECT and connected USB.when new device appeared in Devices , I did right clickon device and updated driver. After that I successfully connected G910 with iPad and Galaxy S4. With Galaxy you have to download new Gamecenter application and uninstall the old one. Have not try withX7 yet.

I too updated the FW on the g910 using a win 7 64 bit. It went smooth after installing the necessary driver as describe in the Geekbuying blog. Installed the new game center as well on the X7. I was able to use the g910 with different games. There are some games that don't work though they were in the Game Center

Btw, the app mode y+home is compatible with more games then the gamepad mode

But for Y+Home you need to always use an aplication. For X+Home is HID and you dont need anything else. I would say use Y mode if X mode fails.

The axes and button event codes are the same.

Does Mode Y work for you without using an application to handle the BT connection?

g910 and Galaxy S4

I tried with Galaxy S4 and it works only with new software and in Home+Y mode.
without new software you can bind bluetooth in Home+X but can not use it with HID games.
I am going to try it with Minix tonight.

I just ordered one for my son to try on his Galaxy S3 phone. We'll see how it works, after Christmas.

from the g910 alone:
alot of games are not compatible.
seem a vid on youtube guy had shadowgun working, yet doesnt work with mine.
gt racing 2 the acceleration constantly pauses the game and takes snapshots.
no support for the real racing series.
surprised theres no support or forum from geekbuying on the controller.
going between the open app and just linking via bluetooth i found no difference.
overall its a working progress
