Play Store Force Closing

My Nextbook 7 1.5 had been working perfectly. Today the Play Store began force closing everytime I try to open it. Any suggestions or anyone starting to have this problem?

Try going into settings/apps find the Playstore and clear data and cache.

Thanks, but that didn't work. May try to re-install w/ app injector.

**It may just be a coincidence, but this happened when Google Play updated my Google Docs to Google Drive. Anyway, I just re-installed Google Play and everything is back to normal.

Superuser fc after install of adaway from play store and applying with reboot. Tried several flashes. Anyone else have this issue ? Warning: I have to flash again after every install of adaway as superuser required to restore settings with adaway, just so you know before testing.

So after installing this rom it is great fastcand smooth. It is like getting a new tablet but at a fraction of the price. Ive been rooting and installing custom rom on all my devices so im not new to this but the nb7 was so easy compared to my phone lol if you update this rom bluetooth would be great. Ive had no problems what so ever just viewing pictures is slow. If anyone wants to speed up the sd card install rom tool box lite and step up the file size from 128 to 2048 speeds i up quite a bit. Ya thanks for you hard work and the app injecter is awesome compared to titanium backup. Im looking to get the nb7 with 4.0 ics next since there out off these

Did your nb7 come with Bluetooth ? Mine did not. I believe this a hardware and not a software or ROM issue...

Did your nb7 come with Bluetooth ? Mine did not. I believe this a hardware and not a software or ROM issue...

No but if its possible that would be okay by me. Everything works like it should. I just keep checking this thread for updates and new roms.

This is still my favorite ROM, and since it does everything I need at a reasonable speed I'm in no hurry to upgrade. Maybe I'm thick headed. I mean I kept XP and never installed Vista. Then I only installed WIN 7 after it was out long enough for others to evaluate it.

But in the spirit of FreakTab, I'm sure I'll be using Finless 2.1 GingerComb soon.

Security Essentials misidentifying ZIP s containing virus

Re-downloaded 1.5b today [thanks!] and MSSE is suddenly misidentifying the ZIP archive as containing "Virus: HTML/Jadtre.A".

This is especially strange since I found the previous download of supposedly the exact same file and nothing is detected in it.

Just a heads-up.

Edit: Even stranger - after it finished downloading, MSSE could no longer detect anything in it. Clamwin sees nothing. I trust this is just an MSSE problem, other users should be aware, though.

Sound horribly distorted

Unrelated to the above..

System sounds [haven't tried anything else yet] after installing 1.5b are SUPER distorted on my 1211.

Turning "notifications" down to the lowest audible setting gets the volume down to where most of the system-included sounds aren't coming out as pure distortion [it sounded like explosions were coming from it when I first booted after updating]. It's like the sound system has its volume turned up to 1000% before the streams hit the individual volume controls.

Something strange going on, here.

Edit: after rebooting post-app injector [installed default sound & video players, google play, gmail, that's it] there's no sound at all. I must have one of the relabeled refurbed 1011 models.

Thanks Bob, I just finished flashing my YF1211. And everything went flawlessly, just setting up my Google Account (getting the response " Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server." So I'll try again later.

Stuck in a LOOP trying to power down.

Hi all, have to say that I'm loving the new Custom ROM 1.5c. Thank you Finless.

Just a couple issues I wanted to bring up. Every time I try to use the Gallery I get this response, ! Sorry-- The application Gallery (process com.cooliris.media) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. And then the command to "Force close"

Another issue is that the NB 7P will not power off, it gets stuck in a loop. The Power off display with the never ending circle, Shutting down, just stays on. And I have to reset it to get it to power off.

Certainly not a deal breaker, just inconvenient

I don't want to sound like i'm ungreatful

I love how well the ROM works and I love that everything works well on it, and I realize this will sound very noobish as wel as plain selfish, but I have been spoiled by the graphics interphase from Ice-cream Sandwhich and I've been trying out jellybean on other android products and I also like those interphase styles. You rom works great but it looks too much like gingerbread though so I realize it would be too much to ask for some advice on how to make the interphase more like a newer Android OS version, but if you have a few tips for me I would love it. Just FYI I am completely okay with a "I can't help you" just really really hopeful is all
