Help needed / Rom search

hey guys this is my first post hopefully I chose the right forum. I have a freestream stream genie elite

Amlogic S912 Octa-core 64-bit Cortex™-A53 up to 2GHz 36800 DMIPS
Operating system	Android 6.0 Marshmallow
RAM	DDRIII 2GB
Flash	EMMC 16GB
GPU	Multi-core high perf 3D ARM Mali-T820MP3 GPU up to 750MHz (DVFS)
Wifi	2.4G/5G WIFI support 802.11.AC up to 866Mbps

and looking to upgrade my firmware. apparently the OEM is keeping everything under wraps and can't find a thing on it. does anyone have this device and we're u able to get an ota and if so how or is it even worth trying. thanks in advance

i moved your Post into a own Thread in S912 Section , the Problem with this "no Name" stock Boxes is ,

mostly no Firmware Support , you only can search for a S912 Firmware with the right supported Specs ,

S912 / 2/16 / and the correct Wifidrivers for your specific Wifichip , what Version ever ??? ,

thanks for the answer back and a little bit of your time. this is all new to me, well amlogic anyway. I am familiar with Android and Qualcomm. what the purpose of wifi drivers? do i need that for flashing or something else? just curious because so far only way I found to flash was through wifi debugging which my device does not have come standard

Hi ,

the Wifidrivers are included into Rom , so if you flash the wrong one , no Wifi or

Ethernet , you only need the right Firmware , open your Box and look for Wifichip .
