That sounds like the preinstall did not run. Check system/preinstall it should have a keyboard apk.

Did you flash the full ROM?
Did you allow the preinstall to complete?

Just run it again. Wiped, everything ticked apart from loader, run -> goes to recovery and formats, reboots to splash screen and then to desktop.

No keyboard

The preinstall is triggered on first startup. To check I open the system tray and watch as the apks install.

Keyboard, rkexplorer and a few other apks should be loaded at this point.

Has rkexplorer installed.

I added 'manually' - so all good now.

Good morning,
I think that the init.rc "preinstall" service is not working.
I tried every statements combinations (with or without) class / user / group / disable / oneshot..., added /system/bin/sh before the call, changed names... but without any luck.
(I also noticed that even the pre-esistent "service whtest" isn't working).
Obviously I've checked out that the script called by init.rc is fully working (just tapping on it and by terminal emulator).
It seems like init.rc refusing to run a sh script...
Any idea?
