Hi,

I did a quick root and added a reboot app to the latest Stock Minix FW.
Wrapped it in a CWM-flashable .zip and uploaded it to hotfile and rockchipfirmware.com.

I try to do the same to the 1080p Version next week.

You need a CWM installed already. If you don't have it, get it here.

I did what I did with as much attention as possible, the modded FW is installed and running propperly on my device.
As there is a chance that you kill your X5 by using the provided FW, you should have a working backup and knowledge to recover it.
Use it at your own risk.

Is the ROM in German only or can it be switched to English. looking for English version.

You should be able to switch in settings.
If not, please open/system/build.prop with root explorer or sth. similar, and change the lines

ro.product.locale.language=[B]de[/B]
ro.product.locale.region=[B]DE[/B]

to your liking. Save and reboot.

Edit: Here we go... 1080p version with root and reboot.

If the ui is too small you can edit the build.prop, add or change the line:
ro.sf.lcd_density=160 to ro.sf.lcd_density=240
But as always, be carefull and have a backup ready.

Help

I wanna test this Rom and flashed it to my x5

Before Fineless 1.2b works fine

Wipe / Factory Restore
Install Rom via CWM
Wipe Davik

Now i only got the MINIX bootlogo all time long

Need help
