    Now we are on 007 or your 1.7

    Is it possible in the future, we update rooted versions via CWM 6

    i e
    007 to 008 via CMW 6
    1.7 to 1.8 via CWM 6

    wiping only cache partition and dalvick and prevent lose data??

          Does any one know how I change the sound input device priority?. I still need to change the input device on each boot from the A2 mouse one.

              EDIT: MINIX seem to have isolated and fixed the HDMI-related issue and are currently rebuilding the fw image.

                Sounds like all they did was remove the RK "craps" that was added recently for frame skipping, etc.

                I guess we shall see....

                      Well they are learning from me

                      They added the gameloft fix and now init.d. However init.d is not that useful if your not rooted as any script that needs SU or added busybox functionality wont work! To install the full busybox you have to be rooted. I usually don't add that to my ROMs as many wont need it and those that do can install it easily from Google Play.

                        Why are people hammering on Minix about releasing sources over there?
                        They released them to us once already. I am sure if we asked they would do it again.

                              I also bought a Neo X7 Mini a week ago and flashed the 'pre-007' firmware.
                              The video is smooth and audio can now be re-directed to a Home theater, even DTS is passed through to the HT receiver.

                                No luck Rooting my new Minix X7 (firmware 007c) with Kingo Android Root app. I tried every button pushing combination I could think of.

                                1) Installed app on my Windows 7 Laptop and ran it.
                                2) Had the OTG usb cable connected to the Minix and laptop
                                3) Powered up Minix while holding "Recovery" button with a paper clip.

                                The Kingo app tried to load drivers, then failed.

                                Maybe Minix made another change to 007c to prevent people from rooting with Kingo???

                                All I want to do with root is Freeze a few of the preinstalled apps like AirPlay and CloudTV. I do not want to uninstall them.
