Pipo M9 Max RileyROM 2.3

I'm seeing the same thing happening on this tablet...as well as my M6 Pro and M7 Pro with the last updates. I'm not sure where to dig in order to solve this. Sometimes it comes on immediately...usually not, though.

I even tried taking apart a different ROM that someone said had it fixed...but didn't find anything. I'll keep looking.

I'm sorry to break-in on your talk, however I have a "M9 Max" and I seam not to have alot of the problems that you have. I thank it has to do with the Tablet it self, this "WiFi Only" tab takes to any new rom from 2.0 to 2.3 the one that i;m running right now, Yes, I have had some little HeCups here and there but over all they as good as any out there. I have a Tab 2, and I have trouble from it just like this one but this Tablet Cost me $200, less. Good work "Riley" good work, and by the way, my wifi works realy good and it turns off when I sute it down and it comes back on start-up..

If I won"ted to replace the kernel in this rom, 2.3 do i use the toolkit that came with the rom, i would like to try the kernel that puts my cpu up to, 1.8 and try it also i have never replaced a kernel befor so i would like to try. can you point me in the right place to download and replace this kernel with the faster one.

Thanks for the effort, anyway, it seem like volume been tune down in the latest few version of your rom, is there any build.prop that i can change to make it louder?

its the same pipo M9 and Pipo Max-M9?????

If your device does not say Pro anywhere, then it's a plain M9. All of the tablets that start with M are MAX, but there are Pro versions, too. I know it's confusing.

i use kernel for 1.8 but battery goes down to fast.

Here is a RileyROM based on a firmware update dated 11/12/13. I don't have a change log for this particular release, but each one makes a little progress.....

Its not in chinese once you install it*

Then when u start it will ask to install its drivers, install the ones for cortex 9/15... Then reboot, then play with the equaliser settings and all the rest untill you make it sound as loud as possible.. If you do not manage to make it satisfying i can upload my loudest profile tomorrow so u can load it... But try to do it your self... The sound can truly go like 5 6 times louder.. It can become louder than most laptops

It would be nice if more people try it as well and share their opinion about it since it is a true solution for quiet sound on generally all android devices. (rooted)

Randy, a question regarding the parameter file. If I decide to change it later after flashing the whole ROM for the first time, can I just reflash the desired parameter file, leaving all the others (kernel, boot, etc) unchecked? Or do I need to flash the whole thing again?
