    He,
I have an SD card, an USB stick drive and a wireless keybord pluged in and it still reboots all the time after any feature.
The customer service tell me to send back the box to factory.
If you think it's power supply problem, I'll try it.

Is any custom ROM compatible with MK902 planned ?

Has anyone face the same issue or is it a hardware probleme ?
I'm really desapointed and looking for the previous firm 2013 12 11, that I haven't save.
        Thanks for return
I have the same issue with 2013 12 26. Random reboots (like every 30 min) preceeded by ca 10 secs of noise and stripy screen. I don't think it could be a power issue, as someone suggested above, because I have no power consuming device connected to the box and, mainly, I ran the device with an earlier firmware for a while (like 20 hrs total uptime) and observed no reboot at all. I tried the FW upgrade in hope that the video playback smoothness would improve (even 720p is not smooth), but it brought no improvement in that at all.

The only problem with power supply I could imagine is that the power circuit could be damaged by powering the device from USB and power connector simultaneously, which I did during the upgrade. But it's still very improbable I guess..

I'm going to try PicUntu until a functional android firmware is available.

wow i figure your units might be bad as i plus 1000s of people are not having this issue i would suggest getting warranty on units that crash every half hour as i have not seen any crashes at all

(first time i ever had a minipc that didnt crash right after setting up! even my minix neo x7 rebooted for no reason after setting up!)

Keeping my fingers crossed that someone gives us a custom rom for this. I need to stream my video from my NAS and the playback either stops (MX Player) or freezes with sound continuing (Archos).

There is no issue with video less than 720p, so I'm thinking this could be fixed with a good ROM. So I'll hold on to this unit for a while as the other features are good for me (ethernet, webcam)

Here's hoping someone takes pity on us MK902 owners...

custom roms - screen blinking (flickering) 1-7s interval

The only working custom android rom for me is Neomode 1,9a but only 720p not 1080p kernel. Others don't boot.
Stock rom on 1400MHz antutu 16400 and Neomode on 1600MHz antutu 19000. Label on the box reads 1600MHz so I guess that i have a 3188T.

I described flickering screen in this thread http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post135378 #77

Thanks for the post and links to the other threads. I have tried picuntu and the display was not OK, the screen was cropped and it was blinking (about 1-2 secs of darkness every ca 15-20 secs). So exactly the same problem as you have, I guess.

working real 1080p android stock rom

Here http://www.rikomagic.co.uk/forum/vie...hp?f=18&t=5431 I have found my very first working 1080p android (see device info in Antutu) rom without blinking (1.4GHz) http://en.cloudnetgo.com/CR11S5M.htm .
Playing video ok (stock rom). The only problem so far for me is that it is not rooted. And that only 1.4GHz as all stock roms (Neomode 1.9a working 1.6GHz on my mk902 but only 720p).

So that I am quit happy now concerning android rom. Now I need a kernel for picuntu 1080p without blinking.

Blinking is only on some minipc and with most monitors (in my case 1 plasma working of my all 4 and my colleagues 1 monitor from 3).
Probably always can be found a monitor without blinking (maybe one of ten but usually exists). Some roms are better and eliminates blinking on most minipcs with most monitors.

Thanks again for info. I've just flashed Neomode 1.9a because I don't insist on 1080p and I prefer performance. I'm really happy that the video playback is smooth now (it was quite a bit choppy with the stock ROM). Unfortunatelly, the ethernet seems to be dead, have you tried yours when you were using the Neomode ROM? Which kernel did you use for the Neomode?

Can you see any difference in video smoothness (or user-observed performance) between the 1.6 GHz Neomode (mine runs at 1.6 as well as yours, confirmed by AnTuTu) and the Cloudnetgo 1080p at 1.4 GHz? Does your ethernet work with the Cloudnetgo?

I took the kernel from CR11S, overclocked to 1.6GHz and memory to 667MHz and use with nemode 1.9a which is rooted and can work bot with 1080p or 720p kernels. So far I am satisfied, blinking is gone.
to saddam: Antutu on real 1080p is 18500. Video is smooth with mxplayer. Samsung oceanic demo from usb flash stick is ok.
Xbmc is smooth up to 720p.

Wow, that's great, I'm gonna try it. It must have taken you a decent amount of time to test all the options. I appreciate that a I'm glad I don't have to fiddle with it myself. I would probably manage to overclock it, but it would take me some time I don't have. Máš u mě pivo
