I don't remember the exact steps, but you need to find the same kernel version tun.ko binary as the tablet's and install it from within the application (it's downloadable by the application).

I downloaded it before and installed it, when run the app It said " the module is loaded" but try to find the and download and after passing too much time nothing happened.

Onthe other hand I found the tun.ko in system/lib/module and I thing that is loaded by default but I don't know why OpenVpn raise error.

No body have any other solution?

Hi There - yes, I have had the same problem here in China - my only solution is to get a normal pptp vpn running to somewhere outside China and then run the module loader - it does not seem to be able to find it when blocked by the great Chinese firewall - I suspect you are having a similar problem given your location. This is why I asked Randy to add it to the ROM. Another solution is to run a VPN on your phone (if you are able) - set the phone as a wifi hotspot and then run the tun loader on the tablet through the phones internet connection. Good luck! Colin.

Pico TTS running

Hey All, Any idea if the system app (Test to Speak) PICO TTS v.1.0 can be uninstalled safely?
Any dependencies on this, Hate stuff that is running that I will never need or use. Waste of resources..

I get cracking/static noise when i play some videos. Not always though. Now its from google drive. Any ideas what causes this?

Does this occur if you play an audio only (music) / music player?
This helps to narrow down if it is a hardware or software issue.

Try another strong support video play, I perfer the MX Player
arm 7 Neon / make sure you have all the codecs also.
Again this can help narrow down your cracking static.

Make sure as little as possible is running (minimizes compatibility issues)

Hi Again. Can I suggest you change over to Finless in this same forum. He is about to release a new ROM based on the latest Pipo release and has promised to also add the tun.ko module to his ROM. I moved over last week and have not had to do a reset at all which means my OpenVPN keeps working! Look out for Finless 1.5. Just one question though -are you not able to use the pptp vpn that comes with Android? I finally figured out how to get it working in China - by changing the DNS servers - BOTH in the VPN setup but also for all internet browsing set to 8.8.8.8 has got the VPN working as I am no longer being blocked by my Internet provider China Telecom. This could also work for you?

For the sake of non-duplication of efforts, I think I'll let Finless carry the baton for the M9 Pro ROM's. He's doing some great work, and it gives me a chance to learn some more from him. But in interest of the Pipo brand, I'll continue to hang around and watch the M9 Pro threads closely. That's why there isn't a RileyROM with this latest firmware.

If Bob gets busy, I may step back in...that's always an option.

Sounds like a good plan Randy - you have been doing an excellent job so far and I think I can say for all of us you have been extremely responsive in all of our demands - especially given your daytime (night-time?) job!! I hope you are able to pass all the excellent feeback to Bob and that he is able to pick up and run with the baton as well as you have been doing. Cheers!!
