spmc audio latency

Hi!
Still no luck with audio latency in advancedsettings.xml. It seems no matter what number I put in it has no effect! Im using Tronsmart Orion PRO with latest firmware and spmc 13.4. Everything else works perfect!
I think that audio latency settings is not respected - maybe there is something wrong with permissions on my system (/system/dev, /sytems/sys). I tried change audio offset in 'movie-menu' with no luck also.
Any tips? Thanks!
PS Do I need to change any permissions in system files? I read here and there about it but I don't know if it's necessary for me

Target is to have a first release at the same time as 14.1 (so that most "core" bugs are solved).

Furthermore, if you have issues, please use https://github.com/koying/SPMC/issues . I'm a bit overwhelmed now so I don't have time to follow bugs inside threads.

Getting dropped frames watching Twitch addon with 14 beta 2 on Fire TV using mediacodec. Stagefright still the way to go?


Also some dropped frames with stagefright. Don't think I ever saw those on 13.4

Type O on your keyboard while the movie is playing. Make sure it does not say VC1 in the upper left hand corner. Rockchip can't handle VC1 movies. If it is a VC1 movie use Handbrake to convert it to H264.

What's your advancedsettings.xml look like? I've reduced mine to this:

What is a different between kodi helix and the regular kodi, it's coming new version for often and I don't know if it better to renew everytime when a new version is out, I am on spmc ver14.0.0 right now

Sorry if this is the wrong spot or been answered many times but can I just confirm that SPMC will load onto a Fire TV with latest firmware without root? Or if it needs root that there is still a reliable and straightforward way of getting it?

I'm trying to do my homework before getting an FTV and I'm concerned that the latest e-fuse tripping firmwares have changed the playing field.
