If you need the S10 instead, let me know.

ETA: or are you using the phoenix update tool thing to install the new rom ?

Also, once I download, do I have to flash like a firmware through PhoenixSuit?

Can we get an A/S 10 version? It would be nice to have a stock version. However. I used the OP method to root my A/S 10 after installing the update from Southern Telecom. So far Root and ADB work fine.

BTW, one of the things i am working on is getting kitchen to be compatible with these devices.. however, there are many other things i am trying to do as well.. like getting cwm working on them, as well as producing a custom rom with some speed enhancements with better memory management. my work is far from being done on this..

"This device can not start (Code error: 10)"
PhoenixSuit lets me flash it by using the key trick, but thats it. Windows does not recognize it. I dont get any prompt on the tablet when USB is plugged in, saying to enable mass storage etc...
Is there a way you can build your rom image with su in it, that way we can skip the Cydia and su part?
Here is one more thing I noticed. I uninstalled USB driver. When I connect the tablet in flash mode (powered off, press and hold volume button and plugin), windows installs the driver and device shows fine in device manager, no errors. But once I switch the device on, it disappears from device manager as if device is plugged off.
So may be this image didnt enable the adb on the tablet after all. Did any one else try this image and able to have windows adb enabled?Last edited by PMisYMMV; 17 December 2013, 03:55.

The key trick will put the device into flash mode for phoenixsuit. there will be no adb support during this. once the flash has completed the device will reboot and you will have to do the wifi and google login stuff.. as you would have to with the stock image.. once past the initial setup please enable developer options and disable and re-enable adb.. this should kick in the device install for windows to allow for normal adb operations..
Please let me know if you disabled and enabled adb in the developer options (you have to enable developer options through the 'about tablet' section in order for it to show up).

Update
Just to make sure, I followed this process one more time. But disable-enabling the USB debugger option, driver installation did not kick off, so guessing adb thing does not work in this image.
Only difference I see from what you wrote is, my device did not automatically boot after firmware upgrade. I got firmware upgrade successful message on Windows, then I had to manually power on the tablet. Thats the only difference. Apart from that I followed your instructions to T.
Is there anything I am missing?Last edited by PMisYMMV; 17 December 2013, 16:27.
