I noticed (since my M7Pro) doesn't deep sleep, I loose 1% almost every hour without doing anything.

How about after this overclock/performance boosts? My old Galaxy S+ with cyanogen mod drops 2%-3% max after a whole night (8 hours) with 1/5 battery capacity comparing with my pipo.

How does cyanogen mode achieve this? Is it a matter of better kernel?
    ril-rk29-dataonly is coming back....(only for 3G version)
    Move
ril-rk29-dataonly from / system / lib / to your SD card. Reboot. You don't have 3G service but you win the "Deep sleep".
    If you need 3G, move
ril-rk29-dataonly from your SD card to / system / lib. Reboot and you will have 3G service.

I have the WiFi only version
I guess what I have is the deep sleep then? I have an ipad 3 also which drops 1% in standby after 2 days. So I was expecting something like that. I guess android cannot get those numbers

        hey...

has anyone else problems with cwmrecovery?

it is always getting back to previous menu, even when i dont touch anything.

less than five seconds it will go back until "startscreen"

Re: Pipo M7 Pro RileyROM 2.2

The touch screen is very sensitive. Just use light fingers.

I don't know why its doing that. Pretty strange.

I have the wifi version and I don't have any problems with battery life. It's my first tablet so I can't really compare it with something but I thought it would be worse.

Mine is also jumping back a lot. But after a little struggle I can get to the right place.

I've noticed something a little annoying with the status bar. In some apps you can access a menu from a button on the right side of the status bar. Now the button to hide the bar is there so you can't access the menu. Only app I know have this button is sketcher pro but there might be more.

I have the 3G version. I moved the ril29rk dataonly and I loose only 2% battery from 22h yesterday night to 10h this morning. 2% in 12 hours is perfect.

Don't get too settled in with v2.2.

Pipo released an update yesterday...I'm downloading it right now...so v2.3 is on the way.

It's been a while since I've mentioned it, but my REAL job is a Fire Captain for the Fire Department in my city and I'm on duty today. That is usually OK, because I have time at the firehouse to work on ROM's after all the usual work/training/meetings and stuff are over with.

Today we have a major winter storm passing through our area and I anticipate a very busy day running on emergency calls...so please realize that my REAL LIFE may intrude on my ability to work on ROM's...especially if the power goes out. The last big storm we had in 2009 caused power outages lasting 5-7 days. So if you don't hear from me for a while...that's the reason.

Status bar does not appear in multi user Set up... V. 2.2

                    Hi there,

Thanks First of all for the brillant work. And Support.
With that I finally Managed to install.

Unfortunately, I experience the Status bar disappears in multi user for the second User.
Any hints to bring It back?

                    Cheers,
                    Jörg

m7 dead with android on its back Please help

                        Hi
I am new to the android tablet experience. I wanted to get out of the factory setup and wanted to try flash a rom. I used the Pipo_M7_Pro_RileyROM_1.5 as it is not the newest (figuring if I had an issue there would be many threads and explanations to follow) and because it came with an detaild instruction. Thanks for that.

I was successful flashing the rom onto the tablet. I rebooted and all looked fine. I installed MyBackup app (as I wanted to recover pictures etc). All looked good still.
After a rebot I installled another app (Angry Bird). After the following reboot I only get one step past the riley startup screen. I see the pipo logo but then it end at the android icon on its back laying dead (or atleast seriously ill) with a red warning triangle above. I have tried to reset, to hook up to my labtop (I wanted to try a new flash) but no luck.. My labtop cant see the tablet when connected by USB. It does registre a device but cannot find drivers (I did point at the vista drivers given with the flash zip file) but nothing.
                        Any suggestions?
I read about other tablets that have button combinations to unlock a restore menue. Can I do this on my M7? if so how and what to do after that?

Not the best way to start your android career. I just hope all of you can guide me and it end up being a good learnning experience for me and not the nightmaere it threatens to be right now.

                        In advance thanks.
                        Jakob

Try turning off your tablet. Connect it to your computer and press power button and "esc". This should boot your tablet straight to bootloader. Then erase nand and flash a new rom. Flash 2.2 instead of 1.5!
