Took me just a few minutes to flash my tablet for the first time !
I followed the instructions and after a while....I got a new tablet !!!

Boots faster, apps open with just one click, screen responds better , wifi signal seems stronger ,
no lagging and everything runs smooth and fast.

    Τhank you Randy !!!

I asked Anna Ye when there will be a Android 4.4 firmware for our Pipo M6 Pro.
          Here is here answer:

          Dear Friend,

Our technician said the system of Android 4.4 is not stable at the moment.

They are testing and they are not sure when it will come.

          Best regards,

          Anna

My m6 PRO works great with Riley 1.4.2

Tonight I flashed 1.4.2 with a 4Gb parameter file (my default), because I wanted to check out the deep sleep.
I have a M6 PRO (non 3G) and so far it works like a charm.
I will post deep sleep battery data tomorrow.

                bloody chinese!

If the tablet boots in 30 seconds or less with quick boot enabled, whats the point of using deep sleep?

                Ray...

Here is a Mirror of 1.1.2. I had to have my rep at PiPo send a different link because Baidu sucks balls.

Anyways, just in case if you guys don't have it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-N...it?usp=sharing

You have to know that if you enable quick boot, as soon as you "switch off" the tablet, in REALITY the tablet DOESN'T GO OFF: IT IS HYBERNATED or something similar AND if deep sleep doesn't work, it remains ANGAIN stuck on 312Mhz and there is a great battery drain.

I do not suggest to use quick boot even with deep sleep working, because when you switch the tablet on the battery drains faster (I'm not sure of this).
I used quick boot when deep sleep didn't worked and overnight I losed 10% of battery

Anyone knows if this is really new?

Deep sleep really works with Riley 1.4.2, or not?

                        Yesterday I installed RileyRom 1.4.2.
Here the results of the first night deep sleep with cpuspy:

0% juice lost in more than 7 hours, I am happy?!
                        I have a non-G3 model M6 Pro.

UPDATE: Not true, cpuspy was not updated!!
The real loss was 12%!!!, so deep sleep is not working after all?

Or is this battery usage normal, even for deep sleep?

Can somebody confirm that Pipo M6Pro is lack of light sensor? Automatic screen dimming could significantly reduce battery consumption I presume.

The source rom is EXACTLY the same as the one dated November 25th. If Randy changes something...that is the news! Oterwise 1.4.2 and 1.5 will be the same.

Randy, I suggest you to leave the file explorer ("explorer" app) on your custom roms, because I need to go on my folders in SD card as soon as I install a fresh rom!
