I just made an update to the ROM with the following changes:

    1. New versions of all included Google Apps, including the Play Store.
    2. Added the lib file which fixes the deep sleep feature for 3G versions.

It still included all of the other features I mentioned in post #1

    This is v1.3.1

    Download

Let me know how it works for you.

I've patched the kernel and installed it on the old image on my device

          Antutu 20268 -- stock + 720 RAM

          unstable on my M8HD -- 1.7 GHz + 720 RAM

I need to fully charge my tablet before flashing the full image
I have tried 'stock+ 720 RAM', but the tablet doesn't boot.

Do you have another one that I can try?

          Thanks

That's the mildest change there is

I swapped to the alternative RIL but still 1% per hour WITH deep sleep. I have wifi set to turn off during sleep. Only difference I can see is I now get a message, "no sim installed" on lock screen.

I'll try and borrow a micro USB and flash the boot.img you supplied

Hi, I have tried cpustock_gpustock_ddr667 (with voltage equal to stock)

                And it's working well : Antutu 19830

For DDR720, I should surely increase voltage to 1300, but not need

Steve, my fault. i forgot that I habitually undervolt the 720 MHz RAM to 1.2v because I know it works for me. Hence you should try 720 MHz @ stack (1.25V) before going higher.

Have flashed your boot.img now and will test battery drain going forward. Thanks for that.

So I can see that you've commented out services Muxd6/7/8/9 and replaced the binary servicing the ril-daemon with /system/bin/rild instead of rild3.

The question is, does this still allow 3G or does this remove 3G altogether - Testing now!

Posting this via 3g. It took almost 20 mins to swap from edge to 3g but it did eventually
