    PMID701i Stock Rom

I couldn't have made this ROM without the help of ghostfayce (stock rom img dumps). This rom can be flashed with Live Suite and does not use any Onda firmware files. This rom is the same rom that comes preflashed on the PMID701i when you first buy it at the store. So now you can go try new roms without the worry of not being able to return to factory defaults.

    Tutorial:
    1. Download Live Suite.
    2. Turn off your Polaroid Tablet
    3. Select the PMID701i.img from inside Live Suite.
    4. Hold the second button from the bottom and plug your tablet in. (Recovery Mode)
    5. Select Format Upgrade.

Nice work. Sucks for me tho lol I had my first C model that I had purchased, was saving it for when someone got the I firmware to put on it and see how it worked out. Well since my nephew dropped his I model I had bought him, I had to take the C model back and exchange it for him a new I model. Now I don't have one to play with !

        You rock Shawn.

and if ST releases the update in the next couple days we will know where they got it.
If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Wow - that is great! It is totally awesome that the user community creates the stock firmware images for devices before the manufacturer does!!

Keep up the great work - I;m going to flash this now! I'll report back...

Which tablet are you using? 701i or 701c?

701c. Other then being reversed it is running really smooth.

That's a known bug I'm working on now, hence the title of the post,"PMID701i Stock Rom."

I was thinking that the 701i and the 701c have different g sensors.

Actually no. They have the same g sensor just different configurations it seems.

FYI - Gsensor is backwards on the 701i as well...

                          Haven't tested otherwise yet..

I think there are several types of configurations

That was one of the main goals for starting this thread:

I would guess there are people who could use this ROM on an i and have it all work well, and others who would have things inverted. That is why there were some who had to use the Onda V5, and others could use the V1. The hard part is that there dont seem to be any easy fixes.

Yeah saber, it seems to be for both devices 701c & 701i I think a build.prop modification will fix it, I'll update as soon as I find a fix.

Anyone who is not experiencing rotation issues PM me.

                              Shawn
