    Back in business
Flashed mk808 2.1 - no errors, also no display
Flashed Imito MX 1.7a - no error, also no display
After a few minutes the PC bonged and said mass storage detected. I opened in the file browser and I could directories. They were empty of course.
This reinforced a nagging suspicion that my HDMI was hooped in which case the device could be discarded. Static discharge when opening the case?
I tried different ports on the TV - no change. The mk802iii has a male HDMI connector so I plugged it directly into the TV. I normally wouldn't do that because of the probability of breakage in either the male or female connector. The screen lit with Android. I need a new adapter cable. It
must have failed when I removed the device to flash the stock 4.2.2 the first time.

    Much joy.
Went back to mk808 2.1. It boots into the home screen but flickers a few times then starts booting repeatedly into recovery.
Currently having a look at the stock 4.2.2.

I believe the stock ROM and the mk808 do not automatically enable the USB. The Imito makes mass storage available on boot.

    Thank you so much blinkone
