People its only me or have more people with subtitle problems on the "xbmc" (vidon.me TV)? I'm using firmware 1.0rev3 version (this is the default rom)

Yes I had the same problem with the A20. The design house we were dealing with could not understand the issue or fix it. That's the design house recommend to us by AllWinner. Now it's on my todo list to fix myself, so if I find the cause I will post the fix.

I have to *get* the device first, pull the stock image apart, add a bunch of customizations and tweaks, make a custom boot animation, test it all, workout the bugs and the release it. so the short answer is: soon ;-)

I'm interest how you pull apart and rebuild stock images. Hope that's too not off topic for this thread. I'm not working with the A31 yet but for the A20 I build from a 6GB source code dump we have. So I use a lunch, make, pack cycle and reflash with a recovery image or more often the Phoenix tools image.

Are you just unpacking, moding and replacing a few key files and repacking? Or are you trying to work with source files too?

Currently I only have the sources (4.2.2) for the A20. That is is why I have my team looking for the dev house that does the CS918S, we are need the A31 to use with a 1080 LCD panel. We have samples of other A31 boards so may end up with a different design as our start point.

These days we only purchase from manufactures who can supply source code or make boards that we already have the source for. Building images in house is the only way we can ship reliable product.

We are likely to have an NDA or some such on the code we have. I would have to check it out. Much of the code is covered by GPL so I can share those but the juicy stuff may be under a different license. If there are individual files people want I can check the license on them and share if it's GPL.

Ten minutes ago a new A31 sample board crossed my desk so I have ask if the source code is available for it. It's "work off" here (time to go home) so I won't hear back until tomorrow. The feedback we are getting from our suppliers is not to use the A31 as it is too new and they can not guarantee the quality yet.

Goodmorning folks

Question..
Did anyone get 'gotham' beta 1 or 2 working?
Mine tested march 3 (b1) and 6 (b2) versions state: no internet connection
However a few imported 'addons' do list channels availeble
-but clicking on them.. gives script errors.. or i get sound but the screen stays black
--disabling h/w acc one by one.. and even stating software rendering.. gives black screen
