I'm trying my best for CyanogenMod to compile. My laptop has been on constant overheat, and it turns off a lot. It's only just gotten results due to me cutting my CPU governor to powersave. Hopefully if nothing happens, it'll finish compiling late today or Monday, school permitting.

Well, one thing came out of this...we have a new kernel. Before I truly compiled from source, I attempted an sdk port, which was successful, not in booting, but in loading the kernel, because adb can see the device. The LCD backlight came on perfectly as well, no color errors or anything.

If you have a new kernel out of this, does that mean that CM11 on the A/S8 is indeed possible?
