NEW - Lollipop - wasser firmware 3.0.6 for Minix Neo X7

This FW works great for me on a Tronsmart T428 with the exception of the USB-to-LAN adapter. Is it possible to compile a kernel (or an asix.ko module) with support for for this adapter? This will make the FW more attractive to T428 owners.

I am also having issues with VPN

1) It doesn't hold the connection - i don't have this problem with version 1.0.4
2) my speed is cut by 75% on wired with connected to VPN - version 1.0.4 is on wireless and I have no speed lost.

Maybe it's just me, but my Minix NEO X7 doesn't recognize my IR remote control anymore under v2.0.3 or v2.0.2. Does nobody else have this issue?

I just upgraded my device from 1.0.2 version but now I could not set up my VPN account. Is there any settings issue or else..? Can anyone help it out?

New hdmi cable, now black screen is a rare event but still intermittent. I have amp + speakers plugged into minix box, sound is stable. Still some issues but stable enough to use day to day.
Although I have to adjust audio ofset to 10sec in spmc to make it bearable.

Dolby and DTS passthrough no longer work with MX Player or other player in 2.0.3. Works only in kodi.

I would still like to know why my sound drops every minute or so when using spdif. My only way around it was to send the audio from my tv connected by hdmi from minix x7 to the amp via spdif. IE minix-hdmi-tv-spdif - amplifier

Skype is far too unreliable to be usable. 9 times out of 10 is fails to make a call.

Therefore I will change ROM. Shame because media playback was fine.

How would I go about changing what the x7 is spoofed as? Is it as simple as changing the name in build prop to something like galaxy s4 or is there more to it. I want to try to make the sky go app in my country work on the x7. Funnily enough the app works on my Chinese Teclast tablet even though its not listed as compatible

the last update(2.03) is very fast for me
also and the wasser spmc mod version of yours(1.03) is very good(maybe the best for me)
although i have a little issue with the WifiDisplay.apk
when i extract the system.img i see the app in the app folder but this app is not installed
i also try to install it as application(WifiDisplay.apk) but also is not installed at the end

hi i have noticed lately that when listening through optical cable to my amp the sound drops breifly every now and then. i have tried the different sound settings and screen settings. happens in both kodi and youtube app. no problem when listening through hdmi to my tv. used to be ok i think, only happened in last week or so

i think i found my solution. when i have the sound passing through my tv then to the amp i dont have the sound drops. this must be how i used to use it. it only drops if i have the sound going direct to the amp from minix

I am having 2 issues.
1) my system lags a lot in 1080p - however its perfect in 720p - I tired both kernel.
2) i am connected via Ethernet however my speed is limited to 25-35 Mbps which is same as wireless sitting 5 inches away from the router. My service is 100 Mbps.
