What is that addon doing with this build at the moment and has that same addon worked on any versions of Frodo?

It is a bit hard to try and test something when I don't have the hardware.

        Dear,

This XMBC version is great ! Thanks.

I have only one problem, live tv don't work. I wanna stream from my VU satbox, i installed the VU addon and enabled Live tv but i don't see Live tv in the headmenu. What i do wrong ?

Ps. with just xbmc i don't have a problem.

        Kind regards,

doesn't show up as a video player when clicking on a link

When I try to stream a video, BeyondXBMC is not in the popup that shows up to choose a video player. Any way of doing this ?

Phew. I did just have a quick look if there was any differences in libs between justXBMC and this and there wasn't anything I could notice. It is also going to be pretty impossible to test every single addon as I just don't have the hardware for PVR and TV streaming.

One thing I will say tho is to make sure when testing that you do not have another version of XBMC running the same time when you launch it. If in doubt do a restart of the machine and test it straight away.

All the protocols you should need are built in to XBMC. You shouldn't need to go to any other app to access your shares for them to play.

What protocol are you trying to stream over? SMB?

Saying that tho, I should be able to make it so it appears in the list of players.

Thanks Flumpster. I would appreciate it if BeyondXBMC gets listed because I cannot get to the source directly from XBMC.

Move thread to "RK3188 Devices" forum

If "Beyond XBMC" should work in any RK3188 device, why not move the thread to "RK3188 Devices" forum?Only a suggestion. I have minimally test the app in my "bq Edison 2 Quad Core" and working fine.

I will try and do that for you mate but I am more curious as what source you can't get at in xbmc.

Explain what you are connecting to (smb, ftp, etc) and what you have tried in xbmc.

Basically because I don't want to get overwhelmed at the moment.

In the last day I have had to write a lot of responses and it is still in beta. If it was in the main threads I would have no time to actually fix things lol.

I'd rather wait for a while for me to get a few more betas out and then I was going to post a link to this thread in the other threads. By then there should also be a fair bit of info in here that people can read.

The X7 forums just seemed like a good place to start as it is quite active and I have access to one so I can at least check things on it. My own personal machine is a K-R42 and I haven't even posted this in that thread yet.

                          Using 'Videomix'

Hi Flumpster, I use the 'VideoMix' app that connects vodly.to and I can start a video from there. XBMC has a 1Channel add-on, but I like 'VideMix' better because I can easily search for movies. I had justXBMC installed previously and this would be in the list but when I select it, justXBMC would launch but not start the video.

                            Thanks for the explanation.

Well I will add that in for the next beta for you but I expect it will do the same as the justXBMC version.

We will need to find out what the streams are that vodly.to supplies and if they are even compatible with xbmc in the first place.

Have you got this to work with any version of xbmc at all? minix, 12.2, 13 alpha, spmc, anything?

SPMC does not show in the list of apps. I will try the latest gotham. These are links at sites like sockshare, filenuke, watchfreeinhd etc. If you can add logs to print what is being accessed, we might be able to figure out what's going on.

Is this something I can test my end? If so, do you have an apk of the app I need to use?
