The 'T' kernels are without CPU/RAM override and can be patched to what you wish - 1.4/446/460 as provided.
    The normal kernels are 1.8/600/720.
    Hi d33.
    I recently got a t428.
Which KK config would you recommand:

    - Wasser KK rom (Minix X7)
    - Wasser KK rom & your kernel
    - Finless 2.0 & your kernel ?

    Thanks for your work

All of those sound good. I actually use a ROM from another website because it was the first out and I've never bothered to change it as it works and my testing is for kernels only.

Using my ipad so apols for any stupid ios spelling 'corrections'

        Hi d33,

I have a T428 and i try different ROM with yours kernels :

        Finless ROM 2.0
Wasser ROM 0.92 Minix X7 KitKAt
        RileyROM Pipo M8HD 1.5 KitKat

I always take boot.img, misc.img, recovery.img and parameter from Finless ROM 2.0, i only swap system.img each time.

With Finless and Wasser ROM, i can boot and the only thing where i have a trouble is with sound (i don't think is your kernel). I can just ON / OFF the sound, when i move the slider to change it gradually, there is no effect, just ON/OFF from start slide on left (perhaps a know bug or just incompatibility with T428 hardware).

With RileyROM, i can't boot with yours kernels. I just see the google tv logo and after, black screen, after google tv logo, after..... nice loop but not very usefull . Strange thing, i can boot with this kernel => http://d-h.st/joW . If i have a good memory i found this in strauzo's thread T428 Study and Research on Experimental Firmwares ).And with this ROM no matter with sound.

So perhaps a noob question without answer but can you do something about boot problem with RileyROM ? (or it's not a kernel problem)

BTW like Kastoi say, thank for your work (and other ROM Developers) and sorry for my bad english ...

          1. always flash matching boot/recovery/misc/system.
          2. Check size of boot if bigger than 2mb it will have embedded kernel
          3. Volume is known beta KK bug
          4. Pipo Tablet ROMs are much better than the beta. I have not tested with " my" kernel so don't know what is the issue
          5. strauzo is very good at getting tablet ROMs working on sticks but didn't share how

I don't want to be annoying, just use your kernel with Pipo Table ROM. However, thanks for your reply.

You sure about that? Latest messages says it's not for that tablet, but for another one. Will that rom work on a stick?

Yes i extract system.img from this rom (with K3xxx_firmware_tools) and i flash on my T428 with boot.img, misc.img, recovery.img and parameter from Finless ROM 2.0 and kernel.img from the archive of this link http://d-h.st/joW .

And i like i say in my previous answer, i prefer use d33 kernel's. (For this reason example)

Ok, so that is how it's done.
What I was saying is that there is some doubt in the thread that the rom was for a specific device. So much so in fact, that it seems it has been pulled and is no longer available. (Unless that i still a remnant of what our italian friend did)

                              Hope it is returned soon.

Unfortunately it is not working for me, I cant access the other 2 partitions in my external HDD, I guess its a bug on Kitkat or maybe not yet supported. I've tried in my LG G2 Kitkat and I can see the same partition, not the others. I'll switch back to JB.

Thanks for your time and support d33, really appreciate it!
