Help me please, i have a mk908II, with NEOMODE's app says its real RK3188, but in kitkat finless 2.0, with no kernel i was able to get more than 1.4ghz. Can anyone tell me why, or witch kernel should i use? Thanks.

I will work with Dee and see if we can patch this!
Because it's compile time it wont be easy to find so I am going to ask Dee for a kernel set to stock value and then another set to 1.8V. I will decompile both and find the location.

On your side, any news about the GPU clock override and CPU voltage ? I'm interested to test it !

I'll probably end up waiting for the new Amlogic S802 http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...RST-PRICE-INFO!

Yes. I have some annoying little latency at 720MHz with 1.6GHz CPU. 667MHz seem to better for my system, I confirm what I saw on rkpatchomatic forum about that..

OK. We can't wait to see that.

About memory... There is two Elpida DDR3 memory chips inside my GK525 key. The Elpida J4208BFBG memory chips specifications is 9-9-9 DDR3 1333 and there is no any other "BFBG" specifications on Elpida website but I saw somewhere on the rkpatchomatic forum that this memory is certified to 800Mhz. In same time it seem to be better to overclock and run only at 667MHz only. Any clue about this is welcome.

Stuck at 1.4Ghz no idea why

I have checked with the software utility provided by NEOMODE and it says full 3188, and I also checked the DMESG output from my device, nowhere did it list 3188t. I'm not comfortable removing the heatsink. I tried all the ROM options from D33 in post #614 but none of them worked. The 1080 would never load, just a black screen, and the 720 would show two vertical white lines. I'm using Finless KitKat ROM. When I load the over clocked kernals provided by Finless BOB I'm able to only get to 1.4Ghz, stock ROM is only 1.2Ghz.

Any ideas on what is going on with our setups here?

    Thanks for the help.

Does anyone one else have this same issue? I do not have the low end T series of the Rockchip 3188, but still can only over clock to 1.4Ghz with the use of kernel that's spect at 1.8Ghz provided with the KitKat ROM by Finless Bob. The Kernels provided by D33 do not work for my MK908ii at all.

I'm looking for what to change to get the higher performance that I should have, 1.6Ghz.

    Thanks.
