this xbmc is the latest from minix, it has some customization such a skin and xbmcbackup bundled, and of course modified to act as launcher. Feel feee to uninstall it and install the minix version.

titanium backup is the way to go. also suggest to use xbmcbackup.

it's clearly something on your side. i suggest checking your ram memory and/or using different browser/downloader to get the file.

I tought that they have beta 2 of minix xbmc and in 008 there is a different one build in.

i'm preparing a quickflasher patch which will uninstall the actual version and install the newer

tested quickshot v2

1080p xbmc 12.4.x - wifi = works good. very few frame drops on 1080 mkv / mp2 / avi random.
720p mkv/ mp2 / avi random = rock solid.

HDMI and optical audio: no issues at all - but i dont do passthrough, i do ac3 / stereo for the time being.

XBMC with XBMC hub / Xfinity installer = only when pausing a movie it crash to desktop. Same problem as with finless bob 1.8 with uoya 12.4.1 and Justxbmc with xbmc v. 2/3/4 .. must be one of the above installers that has some kind of bug.. dont know. It does not crash with a vanilla xbmc 12.4 ouya/minix fork..

but all in all: GOOD WOORK

speedy like hell. Set it via no frills to from 1.2 ghz - 1.6 ghz. Just for starters. Will do kernel OC via quicksilver => nice tool.

A retro game pack would be a perfect addition like retroarch ? - now that you prepared the keymapper.

The youtube HD inclusion is great. What about adding a few of the Xtreamer things now you are at it ?

Vevo, hulu+, netflix.. etc. etc.. man im running on coffee now, sorry.

great work so far. really good. thumbs up.

can we get this for x5 as well ? ps. look at http://www.xtreamer.net/ for more software inspiration.

this is the one built in official 008 firmware. with our mods but it doesn't work as launcher.

thanks for nice team work. I have two ploblems with your rom:
- the kernel 1920 cpu do not work. I tried some but it can't boot into launcher.
- the second is sleeping screen. I turned off sleeping mode in setting and remove app with titanium but it still works. i wanna sleep mode manually
