( HDMI passtrough sound drops seems to be acceptable from what my test team reports, it is just occasional 0.5-1 sec sound loss once in a while )

The GPU speeds available in the kernel config are: 133,200,266,300,400,600,798. In my kernel builds I usually limit the GPU speed to 400/600 in moderately oc'd kernels and 600/798 in heavily oc'd ones.

Make 2 identical roms with just that change ..send them for testing and ask wich runs better....
I keep my gpu in kernel at 600 and never go over it as i did not see any worthy performance gain.
Thing is we allways look at the user experiance.. not some numbers from a benchmark app.. i know thay are not allways correct.

Besides that, your rom is crispy! :-D

If it is a kernel isue it can be fixed.
Tests revieled that raising cpu speeds reduced the sound drops, so i suspect it has to do with shared hardware recources.(or the kernel that gets in conflict.. wich should be able to be fixed)
To be honest i am not a kernel expert and still learning a lot.. so there is no promice it will be fixed.
The isue is in all minix based roms as far as i know.
What we do now is make test setups and send them for testing and compare the results to get to the source of the problem.
If someone has some further insight in this issue or a rom that does not have this isue please let me know. ( roms with hdmi and spdiff passthrough )
Glad you like the rom

Standby/switch off video occurs unexpectedly

Does anyone knows why the box goes to standby/switch off video occasionally? this happens in all roms I've tested (006c,007,008). If XBMC is on focus when this happens, I need not only to pulse the power button but also the home button to get the screen again. Any clue?
