          Hi guys,

First of all thanks for this awesome rom!

Maybe im doing something wrong, so please point me in the right direction if needed.

I currently have stutter when I play my movies or series through optical. When I switch sound to HDMI, everything is butter smooth.

Is this a known problem with optical or do I need to setup some other parameters too?

Many thanks in advance, also im new to this forum (not new in flashing roms or working with android) so Hi

Edit :/// I was able to solve it, I had the ouput on the wrong spdif, i switched to rockchip spdif passthrough and everything is working great now!!! Thanks so much Hardware guru

I watched a Simpsons episode trough icefilms (with xbmc minix edition): worked perfect even with 5.1 DD (spdif passtrough).
Then i didnt use my minix for a while but if started it again, I had a random crash (no idea what happend)

Then i watched another episode, this time from usb harddrive. Due the crash my audio had to be setup again. first i tried the HDMI passtrough but here I had the same random audio drops like somewhene before. After switching again to SPDIF, no problems with audio anymore. (used beyond XBMC).

I would say everything works like a charm (if no more crashes acure, but i havent read any so, lets hope for the best)
            Thansk for great one!
After couple of days of use:
Only one Remark: After every shutdown I have to reset the SPIF by manualy selecting another output option and then agian selecting the rockchip SPIF again.
            (realy shutdown, no standby)

            Anyone having the same problem?

Could you please give more information how you did it?
              I have exact same problem!
Just a noise when trying to play 5.1 sound (AC3 or AAS or DTS) in minix. stereo works fine.
In audio device manager I selected Rockchip SPDIF. There is no "SPDIF passthrough choice available for me...
In XBMC in sound settings I selected "Optical/Coax sound output"...
I'm probably doing something wrong...Please help.
              Thank you,
              Alex

You have to scroll down in audio device manager

Thank you! That did the trick! I had no idea that there are SO many other sound devices available!
Just curious, what they are for?

Guru, I recommend to add it to ROM FAQ, because a lot of folks will be asking the same thing...
Thank you all for the help!

HardwareGuru, this is unsuable on the MK908. It flashes successfully, but does not boot at all. There is absolutely no HDMI output and the blue LED doesn't come on. Any chance you can take a look at it ? I am interested in using the Mali optimization and not have to overclock the GPU.

Will have a look at it, this will be a hard one, the fix was only to prevent the a2 airmouse to go default.

re box working on it ran into a few issues waiting for confirmation of a few things as being told from site posts that no cloudnetgo box will NOT go past the 1.4 limit and that all sold with the 3188T chipset as well as different ver of main board (different chipsets for wifi and bluethooth, thats thrown a fricking monkey into the mix. waiting for them to officially respond to the offer and costs and actual chipset and board ver, Agree with Bob that china manufactures change shit without notice and it wont be the last we see this Buying a advertised box that states 3188 , 1.8 ghz and getting one that is locked at 1.4 and is actual 3188T in canada thats a lawsuit waiting to be handed to some poor supplier.

keep up the great work bro,
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

The button is already there. Double click the little mouse button at the right top and airmouse is disabled.
