Hi Bob,
Bit of an issue here now. I used your ROM about a year ago but then flashed NEXUS on my tablet. Ever since then I have not been able to put my Tablet in recovery.
I am trying to get back to your ROM but here is my issue - I get USB Malfuntion notice on windows when I press reset. And then after that when I go to device manager it wont find any drivers in the drivers files. It gives me options e.g I can look through 64 or 32 and so on but wont let me access the sub files inside them. So Im stuck mate.Comment

It's because you flashed a loader not made for you. You will now have to take the tablet apart and short the NAND chip pins to put it in MASK ROM mode so you can erase NAND totally.

This is for the 10 G3 tablet but all should apply. You just need to find your chip on your board layout.
Also here is one I made for a TV player. Again it's all about finding your chip and correct pins.

A BIT CONFUSED
hey bob, im doing what the instructions are saying, but where it says this '7) Windows should or "may" complain that it could not install the device and may ask to look for drivers.
That's OK. Close and driver dialogs, etc.
6) Open the device manager in control panel. You should see a device listed as unknown with a yellow symbol in it
RIGHT click on it and select "Update Driver"' it does not allow me the option to do it, my arnova 9 g2 just restarts normally, I need help pleaseComment
