Anyone have any luck in attaching an external keyboard to the Nextbook premium 7S?

I was able to get a keyboard to work with the nextbook 7s and a mouse to just go to setting and change the usb mode to usb host

Am gettin' old... 76, and having fun with the Nextbook 7S even though I don't know much about what I'm doing Bought it almost a year ago and just played with it for a while then forgot about it. Found this site, and rooted it with zero problems, much to my amazement. Had no idea what I was doing. Sheesh... Great job FinlessBob!!!!
Bought a mini usb plug online for $1.86 and a leatherette keyboard/case for $7 and it worked perfectly... (needs a female to female USB connector) then, a $10 Gearhead USB Keyboard and mouse at BigLots, and VOILA!!!! both keyboard and mouse worked without doing anything. Now I have full fledged, easy way to get around the resistive screen, that didn't work too well with arthritic hands.
Have had no problems using camera, playing movies and syncing to my Google account.
Can't run Chrome or Google Voice (yet), and don't need Netflix.
Loaded Skype, not expecting anything... was just bumping around, when suddenly up pops an old friend Live-on-line talking to me. OMG...shocked the livin' heck out of this AZ mind.

Only problem I have is in charging... the tablet insists on starting as soon as I plug in the charger, and even after shutting down, it starts up again. Not too bad for my $79 investment last year.
