Pipo M7 Pro RileyROM 2.6 KitKat

I am using this ROM for two days and so far, I am satisfied.
Previously I used RileyROM 2.1.1, because with newer ROMs (stock Pipo ROM, Kastys ROM from arctablet.com, RileyROMs 2.3 and 2.4) I had huge problems with freezing and random reboots. With 2.1.1., these problems disappeared, but the ROM felt little bit slow.

Anyway, my impressions after first days with this KitKat ROM:
-no freezing/random reboots so far
-smooth and fast, it is maybe slightly faster in landscape mode, but still, even in portrait mode ok (definitely much faster than 2.1.1)
-with JB, the tablet was horribly laggy during updating apps. This is much better now.
-wi-fi ok, I would say same signal strength as with 2.1.1
-gps seems working ok
-auto brightness doesn’t work
-No reboot option after long pressing power button, no multiwindow function – I don’t mind, haven’t used these
-battery drains quite fast, probably during sleep. I have just installed GSam and I am going to monitor this issue.
-google now wasn’t working at all. After googling, I discovered that it might be general KitKat problem caused by my country (Iceland), and I repaired it according this procedure http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2516604 – uninstall google search 3.6 through titanium backup, installed package google search 2.6. allowed google now there, updated google search through google play. Since then, no more problems with google now
-I havent seen any other problems so far.

Does the battery drain only affect the Pipo M7 Pro 3G or the WiFi version as well?

I'm still happy with RR 2.5 and my operational time is quite good.

I have wi-fi version, and it feels that the battery lasts shorter, and I just guess that it might be described problem with sleep mode. I am going to monitor this during next days to have some numbers and not only feeling.

So, which one of the lib-rils floating around solves the deep sleep issue? The one I use in 2.4 suffers from regular network drops. Not just data, the entire signal indicator dissapears and re-appears only if I turn the display off and let it sleep for a minute.
I'd like to use this ROM, but 2.5 KK suffered from a big signal drop in my M7. Is it OK with this ROM?

I've used the same libril on all of my ROMs since it was introduced. The ones floating around are all stock files.

If someone comes up with a better alternative...let me know.

I installed kernel "kernel_cpu1416h_gpu600_ddr720.img" by fazerg.
Wi-Fi is much more stable and the sudden restarts problem seems to be improved too.

After 48 hours with 2.6 everything looks excellent, I changed the kernel to
kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 the tablet is Fast and smooth.
I installed on my tablet SIM 3G
I have remained two problems:
Signal is weak and I can not send SMS

Just before I was ready to flash my M7 Pro with RR 2.6 I saw manao's message with a new M7 Pro 4.4.2 ROM.

I'll flash the upcoming RR 2.7 , RR 2.5 still runs very fine without any reboots.

Testing original right now, no much impression comparing to one 2.6 based on. Added widgets same as on M7t, most of them are useless. Light sensor is working but no option for auto brightness in settings. All other sensors look working, GPS is quite strong. Once have settled outdoors is able to see 9-12 satellites indoors, never had this with any of previous ROMs. For some reason it's stronger when in portrait mode. Reboot option is back via power button.
Keep testing.
