There actually is no driver for the nextbook tabs. When you plug the in the detect as mass storage. If you unistall the driver you currently have inmolace you can get the right driver installed wich is the one for an Amlogic M3 nit M6. You may have installed tthe M6 driver by accident as it often is packaged with the M3 one.

Well I decided since nothing was working anyways I'd give cm11 a try (PMP5580 rom porting to NX008HD8G_WM). Everything seemed to work fine until once again I rebooted the device & there was that mtd5 error again...
This is getting aggravating, if stuff is just going to keep throwing file system errors at me then I think I should listen & just stop trying, I think the device just gave up.Nextbook NX008HD8G - RootedComment

The AML tools require special files that tell the software how to partition and format the nand and how to install the ROM. We don't have the required files and we don't know how to create them either.Originally posted by silver9990 View Post
