Hey folks. I have had this A928 for a while now. All of these come with the 3188T. Took me a while to release a ROM due to the T chip issues. Special thanks to D33 for all the kernel work as this thing now performs really well for a T chip

Would you recommend switching to this ROM from your Finless ROM 2.0 - KitKat 4.4.2 for AP6210 wifi - BETA that I have been using on my GB Tronsmart MK908ii? I have updated to the latest D33 v300 Kernel and it's running well. Just want to make sure I'm on the latest build with the least amount of known bugs.

Multichannel audio output

I did a little digging and it appears that audio_policy.conf is missing settings for anything other than stereo sound on this ROM, also there is no HDMI hardware support in /system/lib/hw/ to allow the device to support HDMI audio other than "primary" which is stereo. Is this something that can be ripped from JB or will it need to come from another firmware drop from china?

However worth checking the RoM sources (not kernel) for KK versions

Jip, the audio settings aren't implement in this version of kitkat.
Geekbuying released a newer one with working setting, but some other issues like no play store..... http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-and-TV-Sticks

But Bob already said he is working on a new version, hopefully with working sound manager.
Currently you have to stay on jellybean if you need this feature, same goes for wireless display.

this wekend i'm going to test further this rom, like i said in other post i burn it last night.
Going to put xbmc watch some soccer streams and some hd content streamed and who knows via smb from my main machine if i get the ethernet working....

Anyone tested this new KitKat rom released yesterday, is it better than the Geekbuying one or the same?

Edit: It has bootloader v2.13 and most Google apps, busybox and Broadcom AP6210 wifi.

If only someone knew how to communicate with all these people that upload new roms to Baidu it would make it so much easier to get the correct and newer roms for all our different devices.

Just a great job in my T428

Have to say that this rom with stock kernel or even with d33 version 3.0
kernel my T428 is acting just beautifull.

Xbmc is working fine even with version 12.3 not accelarated one.

Only ethernet not working so far..

Can somebody else with a a928 please test over clocked DDR? I am unable to get mine to boot with anything other than ddrstock

i was trying to flash the new rom on my tronsmart a928 and after a couple of times pressing the reset button i got an error usb device not recognize the last usb device malfunctioned and the box doesn t go into android anymore

what can i do

Sounds like you didn't install the drivers.

thank you for your answer but when i try to update the drivers it tells me
the folder you specified doesn t contain a software driver for the device

the unit doesn t start anymore stuck on android start screen

Hold down the bootloader button then connect power then USB then press the power button. Release bootloader button only once device has connected to USB. Install drivers at that point. Run the flash tool and update.
