Great! I can set up a publicly-shared folder in my Copy account to gather together and make available any of the ROMs, utilities, etc. that folks here can put together until the issues with the filespace here are resolved. (I managed to gather a reasonable amount of referral space before Copy limited it to 25G, so I should be able to make anything we can gather together accessible. Doesn't have to be limited to the MK908, either.)

I am currently uploading to my prefered och and will provide a download link later on

Thank goodness...thought for a bit it was just me. Has anyone put together an archive of the ROMs, somewhere like Dropbox, Copy, or other file-sharing systems?

No HD streaming with SPB TV and FIFA apps

I'm running Finless's 1.8 ROM (1080 kernel) and everything seems to be pretty good except for one problem that I haven't seen an answer to yet in the forum. My MK908T streams HD from my local network just fine (with MX Pro) and even gives me Netflix in HD, but I can't get SPB TV to work in "HQ" mode or even something like the FIFA World Cup apps like the CBC one (I'm in Canada), both of which run superbly on my PiPO M7 Pro tablet and HTC First on the same wifi sitting right beside the MK908.

- The SPB app will show hideously poor video at the non-HQ mode but as soon as I choose HQ I get only audio and no video. Sometimes at the start of HQ I'll get a few frames of crap video and then a frozen image with only audio playing.

- With the CBC FIFA app I get the advertisement video that runs before each VOD, but then get the "turning circles" while it tries to load the FIFA vid, until it finally gives up with a notification that "the video cannot be played".

Can anyone tell me why am I able to get HD video on the MK908 when I stream from my home network and even Netflix, but not with these other apps?

Yes there is one.

Wait till Android is fully loaded and the Statusbar is gone, than start XBMC.

Also you can make the full!screen buttons fully transparent, so it wont annoy you while watching movies

thanks bob, 1.8 installed just fine on my "new" mk908 (non-T).
Had to use the Mass-Storage->switch method.
