Hi,
I'm using Finless Bob Rom 1.6[1080 kernels] on my Mk 908 II.
Recently I have wifi connection problems.I tried to activate ethernet using a LogiLink UAO158 USB to Gigabit adapter wich just happened to own.Adapter went hot and blinks...aand that's it.No connection.
Questions:
1.-Am I using the wrong adapter?--EDIT:YES!
2.-Does this rom have the Asix kernel?

Edit:I just saw that the chipset Logilynk uses is LAN7500...So I need another custom Rom if there exists?

Great work, Bob!

I'm just suffering 2 problems:
1) No way to connect a webcam, I tried with 3 different ones.
2) I use a VOD Spanish program called YOMVI, but I can't see any video, all I get is an obscure 'impossible to play the video' message. I know it's pretty difficult for you to help solving it, but can you give me any clue to fix it by myself?

Flashed 1080p but no 1080p option

So I've successfully flashed the 1080p kernel and 1080p boot image (twice) but I have no 1080p option in setting, and the device is still booting to 720p.

Do I have to do something special to select 1080p output?

Device Descriptor Request Failed

Hi Bob,

Was wondering if you had any insight here. Everything was fine, I was in the process of installing 1.6
(The low level format went fine)

In the GUI it said it was waiting for loader... but never came back.

Now when I connect the device all I receive is "Device Descriptor Request Failed" and I can not talk to it.


Any insight would be appreciated.

Timvision app (streaming) detect the system rooted and doesn't allow to see the video.
Can you suggest any workaround?
