    What difference do they make?

I doubt very much that the MK908 will ever pull over 2amps at 5v. I would imagine your 3amp PSU is a much better and cleaner 5V supply than your previous one. But you are right in that the PSU plays a BIG part in stability of these devices. I have 2 device and when they are plugged into my Panasonic TV's USB port they are ROCK solid and stable. But even using my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 2amp charger they become a little more unstable and may quit apps or randomly reboot.

My rk3188T mk908ii was between 1.8 - 2.3 amps doing benchmarks. So I imagine it gets unstable around 2 and the included PSU is terribly unstable. Newer TVs have more powerful USB ports up to 5amp to support external hard drives for media streaming. My vizio does 4amp - 4.2a before cutting out and resetting the device.

have to agree on power supply. My MK908 is rock stable no matter what's running.Flashed it one time with finless 1.7 rom when released and still running smooth and stable.
I don't have any issues with xbmc hd content of any file type.I'am using justxbmc, having a wired connection and using a 300V PSU with attached cable, not a seperate cable to connect to the PSU plug.
I had some reboots with the hardware that came with it and haven't had one since.
I'am a regular user of this stick and no power user

Try apps like TV Portal or Video Mix.

Use the ES Downloader or Loaderdroid to completly download the file so you wont have buffering because of slow wifi when streaming. The file can be played with the videeo player of your choice whther MX player, BS player or whatever. Delete the file when you are done.

These apps are not on the playstore but if you search 3rd party providers you will find them.

XBMC needs a direct internet connection.

Is that on 720p with libstagefright enabled? On an mk908ii? Try Grudge Match on any add on, that has always been my test vids. Works OK on 1080p and SD. 720 always freezes 10 mins in with the green at the top when he's talking in the kitchen. Happens on my other rk3188 devices as well no matter what add on is used.
